At this time, both men and women, have a new standard for the “perfect shape” which is more stringent and more diversified. At some point, we even get stuck in morbid thoughts “hunger for hunger “. Therefore, we intend to mock this bizarre social phenomenon through this series of performance- Lose weight exercise. A documentation will run from the 7-15 MAY with work by the following artists: Franziska Keune, Hsuan Huang, I-Chen Tsou, Mirella Oestreicher, Ya-Wen Fu, Ying-Chih Chen, Yun-Ting Hung

Due in May 2011, MPA aspires to intersect Berlin-based venues, curators, producers and artists who operate on the boundaries of institutionalised performing arts structures, and thus to reflect the creative force injected by independent cultural players into the city’s contemporary performance art scene.
